STUDENT INITIATION CEREMONY

A cultural and social event organised for students of the faculty.  During the ceremony, second-year engineering students receive an official Cechovácia Certificate from the Faculty management and are formally inducted into the Guild of Manufacturing Technologists. A traditional part of the celebration is a procession through the city of Prešov, with students travelling in horse-drawn carriages and a specially decorated ceremonial bus.

STUDY FOR PRACTICE

The faculty organises the prestigious Study for Practice event in the Prešov region, which is attended by several dozen prominent partners from the automotive industry in Slovakia, including Kia Motors Slovakia, Continental Automotive Systems Slovakia, Lear Corporation Seating Slovakia, Honeywell Turbo, and many others. The primary objective of the event is to introduce students to the production programmes and latest developments of industry partners, as well as to present employment opportunities, professional internships, and opportunities to prepare final theses in cooperation with companies. These opportunities consistently attract considerable interest among students of the Faculty of Manufacturing Technologies.

The event is accompanied by a diverse programme of activities and is intended for students across all years of study.
