The graduates are competent to perform the profession of enterprise manufacturing manager and they should be able to lead and organize business. They control the issue of managerial economy, production planning, recognize the different methods of managerial decision, the issue of the technical documentation preparation and processing, as well as the technical production preparation. They have the knowledge about manufacturing technologies, materials, production machinery, tooling and fixtures, the control of production processes and their management. They are able to ensure the functioning of the production and technological systems and improve their operating parameters. They work in the implementation and operation of manufacturing and technological systems as the technologists, manufacturing aids design engineers in the technical production preparation and production quality control. They have the knowledge and skills to ensure the rational production facility, to solve the problems of logistics and production management. They are adequately prepared for integrated parts designing in production procedures with an appropriate use of computers and CA technologies.
Computer Aided Manufacturing Technologies
The area of study produces specialists who can work as manufacturing technologists applying computer technology. They are familiar with CAx systems and CAx technologies used in the preparation and management of production. The graduates are able to independently create technical documentation and computer-aided design, implement computer analysis and simulate manufacturing processes in order to create programs for CNC controlled machine tools, simulate operation processes as well as design manufacturing workplaces. They possess knowledge of information systems, computer hardware and computer networks. As engineers and designers of manufacturing tools and plant equipment, our graduates are competent to implement and operate manufacturing and technological systems focusing on the field of technical preparation of manufacturing as well as program NC machines and systems using computer technology and appropriate software.

Automotive Production Technologies
Students who graduate with this area of study obtain necessary knowledge and skills of theoretical and practical character, focusing on the issues and rules for implementation of components for automotive and related industries in all its phases: design, production, verification, mass production and shipping.
The study program mainly concentrates on knowledge of the main technological operations in the automotive and related industries, for example high speed machining, composites machining, laser machining, water jet machining, injection moulding, pressure casting, aluminium machining, forming, welding, gluing, qualitative ensuring, metrological support as well as manufacturing technology components and operation, their installation, animation, programming and adjusting, taking measurements, diagnostics and service. The graduates have understanding of the following chain: requirements review obtained directly from the automotive customer or supplier, design and technological documentation, production tools and gauges, technical support of mass or verification production, process of components manufacturing, metrological and metallurgical analysis, validation and durability testing, design process verification and mass production approval. Our graduates possess knowledge of monitoring and evaluation of production processes, machines and measuring equipment as well as product safety (statistical quality methods and techniques, legislation) which, according to the current standards for the automotive industry, must be involved in the design phase of a new product. The graduates are involved in the activities that require technical specifications for the automotive industry worldwide as well as have understanding of production systems, PC application, production facilities management, engineering materials and their testing, vibrodiagnostics and tribotechnics, economics, ecology and environmental protection, health and safety at work. They can work in manufacturing and non-manufacturing companies in various positions that require to manage activities mainly focused on automotive and related industries.
Monitoring and Diagnostics of Technical Equipment
The area of study seeks to produce professionals both with theoretical knowledge as well as application skills focusing technical equipment operation, measurement and evaluation of operating conditions, reliability, quality, diagnostics, maintenance and servicing of technical equipment. The graduates possess complementary knowledge of manufacturing systems, the basics of computer technology application, manufacturing facilities management, technical materials and their testing. They have basic knowledge of economics, industrial psychology, ethics, ecology and environmental protection and safety at work and are able to work independently and in a team to solve problems of manufacturing technology operation, operation monitoring and diagnostics. Being able to evaluate technical systems operating conditions, our graduates can work with measurement devices and diagnostic gadgets to ensure the operational capability of manufacturing technology as well as make economically efficient decisions on the maintenance method. The graduate students can become diagnostic specialists in technical equipment operating conditions as well as specialists in maintenance and service teams providing complex operation of technical equipment and complex manufacturing systems.
Computer Aided Design of Technical Systems
The graduates are able to design and develop the construction documentation of parts and simpler nodes of machinery installations in production techniques using modern means of information technology. They have a basic knowledge of theory, construction and management of production machinery and equipment, about applying them to the technological and operational conditions. They can also occupy the profession of the operator of production engineering, to analyze the problems and options for arising from the manufacturing equipment operation, related mainly to the installation, operation and service. They cooperate with managers, users of production machinery and equipment and specialists of other professions. They also have a basic knowledge of entrepreneurship, work organization and management with the possibility of acting in the public and private sectors. As sole traders, they are able to work mainly in the field of construction and design, steel structures design, maintenance, servicing and sale of production equipment.
Renewable Energy Sources
The graduates are able to analyze processes in process engineering from different fields of industrial and food production. They know the techniques for processing and recycling of solid and liquid wastes. They are able to control the process equipment and manage production it in. The graduates can communicate and collaborate with technologists, chemical engineers, designers, managers and specialists of other professions. They have knowledge of the basics of their study branch, work organization and management, as well as basics of engineering technologies. Graduates are successful in various industries in the management process engineering, waste water treatment, management of landfills, in the development of process engineering, in the investment construction as well as the officials of protection techniques and environmental monitoring.
